On this show we talked to Walidah Imarisha, co-editor of the book Octavia’s Brood: Science Fiction Stories from Social Movements. We talked to Walidah about prison abolition, visionary fiction, and imagining worlds without prisons.

This show also featured an exert from the event ‘Native Women in the Canadian Prison Industrial Complex’. The speaker we feature is Danielle Linnen. She talked about connections between residential schools and the overincarceration of aboriginal women.

The show started off with two calls for support from folks facing repression inside. Check out an earlier post on our blog for more information, or visit gviwatch.com and http://kersplebedeb.com/posts/medical-emergency-robert-seth-hayes/
