Prison Radio Show – March 28, 2014

A reading of a recently released statement by prisoner Nyki Kish who is currently serving life in prison in Ontario: an update on her case. Her supporters believe she was wrongfully convicted and have been fighting to have her released for a number of years.

A rebroadcast of part of a panel presentation from the New York City Anarchist Bookfair from 2009 with speaker Dr. Viviane Saleh-Hanna, who was teaching at the University of Massachusetts. She talks about white supremacy and the history of incarceration.

We re-broadcasted an interview from the Final Straw Radio Show in Asheville, North Carolina. The interview is with Dane Rossman, who was extradited from the United States to face charges in Canada related to the 2010 g20 protests in Toronto. Dane wasn’t the only US citizen to face charges in Canada, Joel Bitar, Kevin Chianella, and Richard Morano are all currently serving time in Canada for charges related to the anti-g20 protests in 2010.

We have an interview with Khin Cho Myint, a former political prisoner from Burma who works for the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners Burma.
