Prison Radio Show – February 21, 2014

The Prison Radio Show has been reporting on the case of the Angola 3 for some years. On this show Robert Hillary King, who was released in 2001, joined us live in our studio. Mr. King was incarcerated for 32 years for a crime he did not commit. He spent 29 of those years in solitary confinement. Since his release he has advocated tirelessly for the release of his friends and comrades Herman Wallace and Albert Woodfox. Herman Wallace was released in October 2013 after spending 41 years in solitary confinement. He was terminally ill at the time and passed away on October 4th, three days after his release. Albert Woodfox remains incarcerated at the Angola State Penitentiary in Louisiana.

Also discussed on the show was the documentary Hard Time by filmmaker Ron Harpelle: A documentary about Robert Hillary King.
