Prison Radio Show / Off The Hour – November 13, 2012

The following aired on the Tuesday edition of Off The Hour, CKUT’s weekday evening news show. These interviews were produced by the Prison Radio Show at CKUT.

Ralph Poynter, activist, supporter and husband of political prisoner Lynne Stewart, speaks about who is Lynne Stewart, her work over the years as a criminal defense lawyer for political prisoners, how she became the lawyer for the Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman and her present situation in prison. This interview is followed with an interview with Claude Herdhuin, who worked on the documentary Lynne Stewart: An American Story. At the time of this interview this documentary was in its final stages of completion and is expected to be aired in 2013 on Radio-Canada.
